North Plainfield Disorderly Conduct Arrest

This past weekend North Plainfield Police arrested a male teenager who was so intoxicated that he needed to be rescued by police and firefighters who took him down from a residential roof around 4 a.m. in the morning. After being rescued from the roof, the teenager was charged with trespassing and a disorderly persons offense for all the trouble he caused.

At about 4:20 a.m. Sunday, North Plainfield Police were called to a home on Farragut Road for a report of a man up on the back roof of a home knocking on a window, police said. The 19 year-old Plainfield resident, was found to be “highly intoxicated” and had to be brought down off the roof by the North Plainfield Fire Department, police said in a news release.

The defendant was later taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for medical treatment, according to police.
